1-5 Learning Carrots
The baseboard of this handy learning board shows 5 different root vegetables sitting in a soil bed, just waiting to be harvested. They are all differently coloured (red, orange, yellow, green and blue) and have different root shapes. On the front of each are the numbers 1 to 5. They can be removed from the baseboard and placed onto the desk or floor and played with or inspected before they are replaced into the soil. Getting the pieces into the correct number order requires concentration but with the aid of the shaped roots, which only fit correctly into the soil in one way, the puzzle is in effect self-correcting. A simple, but wonderful kinaesthetic learning aid for children starting colour and number recognition.
