Social Skills 101’ Hidden in Children’s Expressions: Emotional Education Begins with the Masterkidz Expression Learning Series

"LEARNING IS FUN! [Matching Expressions: The Beginning of Understanding the World]

Can children clearly express 'I'm angry' or 'I'm a bit scared'? When a friend is crying, can the child feel their sadness and reach out with a comforting hand?

The first lesson in social interaction starts with being able to 'read' emotions. Facial expressions are the silent language of the heart and the first key to a child’s self-awareness and understanding of others. Unfortunately, this essential skill is often overlooked in early childhood education.

How can we help children easily unlock the 'emotion code'? The Masterkidz Expression Learning Series, with its creative design, opens the door to emotional recognition and literacy!"

Masterkidz Expression Learning Board

The Masterkidz Expression Learning Board consists of a multi-layered plywood base (280×280×23mm) and 6 sets of expression blocks. Children can independently create various facial expressions by freely assembling them, allowing them to experience and understand different emotions.

Adorable Egg-Shaped Design: Kids Will Love It at First Sight
Say goodbye to dull flashcard lessons! The cute, rounded egg shape instantly captures children’s attention, transforming emotional learning into an exciting and anticipated game of discovery.

Endless DIY Expressions: Small Hands Create a Big World
The eyes and mouth components are cleverly separated. By simply flipping the pieces, children can create:

  • A big, happy smile

  • An angry frown

  • Sad tears

  • A surprised, scared face
Each puzzle piece becomes a tangible experience in emotional recognition.

Interactive Tool: Conversations Begin with "Expressions"
"Look at this expression, guess how I feel now?"
"Does this face you just made look like the little bear in the story who couldn’t find a friend?"
In these warm interactions, children naturally learn to:

  • Identify and Name Emotions: "This is happiness, this is sadness..."

  • Understand and Empathize: "He’s crying, he needs help..."

  • Express and Communicate: "I made a smiling face because I’m really happy today!"

Growth Gifts Hidden in the Game

  • Emotional Awareness: Recognizing and understanding a variety of emotions and changes in feelings.

  • Empathy Development: Learning to sense others' feelings, making social interactions warmer.

  • Confidence in Expression: Children can express their feelings with both "expressions" and words.

Improved Fine Motor Skills: Turning and assembling pieces helps develop fine motor skills.

Emotion Learning Game Board

A learning game board featuring 64 different expressions, made with a 280×280×46mm multi-layer plywood base and 4 cubic blocks, and includes 2 six-sided dice.

The first die is adorned with 6 different facial expressions. Children can recognize changes in facial emotions by tossing the die, which displays facial features like eyes, nose, and mouth. This helps deepen their understanding of their own emotions.

The second die presents different scenario illustrations. Children learn that different people, events, and objects can evoke various emotions. Interactive games between teachers and children, or between children themselves, improve their ability to recognize others' emotions while also fostering interpersonal relationship management skills.

In the most direct and fun way, it plants the seeds of emotional intelligence in children's minds, allowing empathy and social skills to naturally grow through play.

Understanding the world’s emotions starts with reading a face.

The Masterkidz Expression Learning Series allows emotions to be seen, feelings to be understood, and helps young hearts confidently navigate the social world.
